

You must have a DUKE3D.GRP file installed, as The Hunt uses some data from the original game. Once you've downloaded the archive file, extract the files from it and copy them into your Duke 3D directory. However, since I personally use Linux rather than Windows, I hope to have some instructions for that too at some point. At the moment I'm not sure what modifications would be necessary to get The Hunt to work under Linux, mainly because I've never managed to get Duke 3D working in Linux at all. The instructions should also work for an ordinary Duke Nukem 3D install under Windows 98. I've only tested these instructions on JonoF's Duke 3D port under Windows XP. If you don't know which to choose, go for the ordinary zip version. You can download the necessary files below: 7-zip format (preferred)ħ-zip gives the best compression, so I prefer it if people download that version as it saves on my bandwidth, but not everyone has 7-zip installed. It was originally intended to include 3 or 4 new episodes to replace the ones from the original game, but only the 1st and 3rd episodes were actually completed.
